Eight minutes at a time
by nate

Heather is moving around better today. She's having an easier time getting out of bed and walking around. The only problem is that after eight minutes or so she starts to get a low pressure headache. Then she lays down for a little while and it goes away. They are going to give her more fuilds and she's going to stay in the hospital another day.

You are my hero! I have been having problems with migraines lately, and I always say "If Heather can go through what she's going through, I can survive this!" I don't think I am as strong as you, but I wish I was. You really give me a lot of encouragement. Love you!

Hi Heather!Just wanted to say Hi and let you know we are always thinking about you. Glad to hear things are starting to get just a little bit easier. You probably would like to leave soon but I was a little relieved to hear that you would be getting an extra days care before doing so. Hope to talk with you soon.Love ya, Dad

hi heather i hope you liked the poem i wrote for you yesterday `cause heres another one

I had for my winter evening walk-
No one at all with whom to talk,
But I had the cottages in a row
Up to their shining eyes in snow.

And I thought I had the folk within:
I had the sound of a violin;
I had a glimpse through curtain laces
Of youthful forms and youthful faces.

I had such company outward bound.
I went till there were no cottages found.
I turned and repeted, but coming back
I saw no window but that was black.

Over the snow my creaking feet
Disturbed the slumbering village street
Like profanation,by your leave,
At ten o'clock of a winter eve.

I hope you like this one and I hope that you feel better every day. I was really unhappy when I heard you had to stay another day.

Dear Heather,
I hope those low pressure headaches leave you or flying home will be a bear. Glad you are in the hospital for an extra day may be they can get these headaches under control as eight minutes is a very short time when you have a long airport wait and flight. Take care
Kathy

Bailey is trying to help me type - her nose on the keyboard! We all miss you and can't wait until you are home! Glad to hear that some things are getting easier / better. Hopefully, the fluids will work and they can cut you loose today (Saturday)! Will you be at Variety House when you leave the hospital?
