Won't be going that way for a while
If you haven't heard yet, you will soon. The I-35W bridge over the Mississippi River collapsed this evening. This is a bridge I would normally take home after work. I haven't been since mid-June when they closed the on-ramp that I used to get on I-35W. I was never in danger today. I crossed the river on a different bridge around 5:50pm, about ten minutes before the bridge collapsed and didn't hear about it until I was picking Heather up at 6:30.

As soon as I heard, I thought of you. Up odd hours these days due to new baby and caught the info on the late news. Glad you're ok! Wish I had more time to read your blog and get updated, but duty calls. Email me when you have a chance...
