Slashdot had a interesting story about banks requiring two-factor authentication by the end of 2006. In it they linked to a Wikipedia article on Two-factor authentication. After loading the Wikipedia page I saw this warning which I found amusing.

In reply to Oleg's post on not getting rebates back from large chains, I just got my two rebates for a hard drive I recently bought. Circuit City had a 300GB Seagate drive for $100 after two $40 rebates. I just got back my second $40 check.
In my experience, the rebates usually are more trouble than they are worth. I definitely won't bother with rebates less than $20.

Oleg pointed to an article about a couple blog articles for and against allowing comments on your blog. I thought I would toss my two cents into the ring. I am for blog comments and here's why. My target audience is my friends any family. I don't expect any of them to have their own blog to reply on. I want them to be able to read what is going on in my life and comment as they see fit with as little hassle as possible. I'm not going to try to become an "A-list" blog. I just want to keep my blog updated enough so my friends and family feel like they are in the loop.
